Step 1: Prep Your Natural Nails

1. Wash your hands with soap and water to remove oils and dirt.
2. Push back your cuticles using a cuticle stick.
3. File and buff your nails lightly to smooth the surface and remove shine (this helps the glue stick better).
4. Clean your nails with rubbing alcohol or an alcohol wipe — make sure they’re completely dry.

You can use nail glue or adhesive tabs — both work fine, depending on how long you want them to last.

Using Nail Glue (longer lasting)

1. Apply a small drop of glue on your natural nail and a thin layer on the back of the press-on nail.
2. Press the nail firmly onto your natural nail for 10–20 seconds, making sure there are no air bubbles.
